The Erhoopla Ensemble Returns!
In January we had the pleasure of hosting the Erhoopla Ensemble, two very talented musicians who bring new life to traditional Chinese instruments. In July, Brian and Mike will return to perform a variety of traditional Chinese tunes, and some of their original compositions for two Erhus, or Erhu and Ruan or Baritone Ukulele, with the occasional American Jazz tune thrown in for spice. We here at Seven Cups are thrilled to have them back and hope you will join us for a summer jam session on Friday the 16th at 7 PM. This is a free event, but we will be passing the proverbial hat for the musicians.
